	I've seen a few references to it here, but no actual user reports. I've used a MSR Whisperlight for 20 yrs, & 2 yrs ago switched to the jet boil. Now I'm thinking of trying wood. Would be used either solo or two people.

Personally, I like the design, weight and price much better than a similar mentioned recently. It just makes more sense to a guy that once thought he splurged on a grate to bridge two rocks and never looked back. Fireplaces and rocks are normally provided where I go though. Funny thing is, that angle looks much like the triangle I often use to build a fire as well so thanks and good luck!

	DOH. I didn't notice that one. I like the open end - like a traditional cooking/warming fireplace.... I sometimes think air holes in the right places are a necessity people don't seem to readily realize anymore. Big brother would do steaks better much better from the looks of them. After a better look and I get the pan idea but the general term used - 'Emergency Stoves' - ?

	How many times have you had to re-work a firepit because some Newbie thought that a little breeze was bad for a fire and put so many rocks around the perimeter you were basically building a fire in a hole in the ground

	Well I circled it as part of my Christmas list in the Piragis catalog so we shall see if I get one. If so I will maybe go to the manafacture & get the 2 piece base for it. Still comes in under a pound & the two piece base is the same dimension as the dissassembled unit so the package is no larger. If I get one I will try & do a review.

	Hogan brought one to the 2012 Woodland Caribou Gathering. We used it for boiling water and for staying warm under a tarp. It was well made and retained its shape after some hot fires.

Beyond that is up to him. Thanks, I need all the help I can get! :dankk2 On the off chance Santa doesn't come through I think I'll probably order one the 1st of the year. Hey, maybe I should order the folding ash pan now (Paragis doesn't carry them so it's not on the list) & then if Santa goes a different direction I will HAVE to buy the stove anyway!
