When I hit the mudflats to cast net some bait to saltwater fish I often have some of these on.......

They do very nicely on the mud allowing me to access water I might not ordinarily be able to get to.

They are light and rather smallish as far as snowshoes go. In a very specialized situation where you know your going to encounter some very boggy portages these might just be the cats meow. Just be careful that they will keep you up top. To loose/sloppy and you might still go under.........keep a knife handy in case you have to cut the bindings.

I'm not in until August......should be nice and dry by then  ...... Hopefully that bumper hatch of skeets due to all the standing water will have burned off.........you spring trippers may want some headnets  .

These plastic snowshoes work surprisingly well for keeping your rear out of the muck.
