Bear Grylls autobiography was a great read and quite inspiring (to me at least). Some of you might be familiar with him in the "Man vs Wild" show.

I had never watched it for more than 3 minutes as I figured the guy was basically an actor and everything was staged. But hey........the guy is the real deal. Now I am tempted to watch the show as I am definitely a fan of the man. Check it out. Surprising what you can pick up in those airport bookstores.

Anyway.......his writing is engaging and easy to read. His life has basically been one long adventure. I promise you a few laughs along the way as he is a bit of a character. I like him, probably one of only a handful of people on TV I would actually be interested in meeting.

Yea IC he is a bit of a wild man........

But I would love to go with him. I haven't seen his show so I don't know what situations you speak of............. stunts that would make their way into Jackass (the movie)?

He is tough enough to pull them off however and without any excessively bad language  . (I could only tolerate 10 minutes of "Jackass the movie")

As for me, I decided long ago that I would not let peer pressure put me into situations that I was either uncomfortable with or unprepared for. Wild men usually get through........it is who they drag along that usually pay a price (That is if they lack sufficiency of character and the independence required to stop, pause and consider).

On the other hand much can be said to expanding your comfort zone........to delve into the process of challenging your skills.
