	I brought along a hammock on my trip this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm thinking of switching from my two man tent and never thick enough mattress pad to a hammock tent. 	I'm not a hammock camper full time, because I toss and turn side to side and that's not good in a hammock. BUT, I have spent more than a few nights in my Byers Mosquito hammock when I had to get off the water and that meant the first place I could land my canoe. Plenty of full time "hangers" here, but before you invest a considerable amount of money in a real camping hammock, why not get this, or something similar and give it a try a few nights in the backyard with the bugs out, and see IF that set-up is really for you? 	I have used a Dryad from Terrelogic. The call words are "suspended sleeping system" for the net and you will find others under that moniker. The Dryad has a cot-like frame so the bottom is firm and flatter than a hammock. In our area it is easy to find two solid trees close together (or one huge tree, like an old limby white pine) to hang in. In other areas it can be a problem to find the right trees for set-up. The Dryads have about a 250 pound load limit. One of my friends had a Hennesey hammock but didn't like the central, bottom ingress/egress door. I remodeled it for her so the door it came with is sewn shut and I put a long zipper on one side between tent fabric and mosquito netting so she could get in/out from the side instead.

	i ordered the blue sky one from amazon after reading this thread. i had been interested in a covered hammock for a while and even started acquiring materials to make one. however, the fabric for the bottom, nylon ripstop, was more than this entire thing!

	I have the Hennessey and really like it. You'll want one with an undercover, and the insulation system is a plus as well. Doesn't have to get too cool at night to make the under side a bit chilly, also they keep the skeeters from biting through from underneath.

	To clarify, I'd spend the extra bucks to buy their "Vertex" rain tarp. This model comes with XL but, in my opinion, their largest option (designed for their Vertex model hammocks) is worth the extra $20. Case in point, right about this time last month I was trying to get changed during a snow squall which hit our camp on the Maligne River. The extra few feet of coverage would have been appreciated right about then. Snow & sleet on bare legs... brrrrrrr! Jimbo

	This last trip we took three of the ENO hammocks with bug net and rainfly and used it every day and left the tent in the pack. We used under inflated insulated therm-a-rest mattresses in the bottom to cut the cold on the back. I will be tent free this year and either use the ENO again or may go with a tree tent like these.
