I will likely be heading to Minneapolis on Saturday, April 23 for this semi-annual event. While smaller than Copia, it is more focused on adventure travel, canoeing, and fishing. I think it would be of great interest to most QJers. I did not apply to speak this time due to some family health issues. It is amazing what adding an "s" to an address can do.  I think Old Salt is saltier than he lets on.

While the whole weekend, April 22-24, looks great, there are a number of presentations that will appeal to the wilderness canoeist. Over 100 all together. Cliff Jacobson, Rob Kesselring, Stu Osthoff, Bob O'Hara, Kevin Callan, and Peter Marshall headline the speakers. The Ontario parks are well covered. There are topics concerning various wilderness skills and camping practices. Sunday looks to be as good as Saturday. I hope QJERS will support this event and help it to grow. If you have been Dissappointed with the choices at Copia, this one looks like a winner. I hope to see you there.
