	Azalea, You will be happy you had them done, but it might take a few months. Its all about getting the range on motion back, ahead of the scar tissue forming. I had one done in 2009 and its been good ever since. Wish I had not waited so long. Hope your rehab goes well and quickly. MB

	I’ve had both of mine done also. One in 2009 and the other in March of this year. Excellent results! Work hard on the therapy.

	I have also had two new knees (and a new hip, but that isn't germaine to this conversation. I wanted to do them both in 2013 but my surgeon advised against it. I had the first one in 2013, with another surgery later in 2015 to resurface the patella. The second one was in 2016. My second knee is so good I cannot even tell that it isn't a "real" knee, it is 100% improvement. The first one still has a few aches and a little stiffness, but I worked hard at PT and got full range of motion in both. Definitely glad I had them done. Good luck to you Azalea, and keep moving!!
