You get ONE point of lift PLUS that auto-brake. Another thing is that appears to be a 8 ft maybe 10 ft ceiling. With the straps loose all the way, he was barely able to grab the loose end. PK said he had 12 ft ceilings. Most of those cam straps are about 15 ft. Rigging it like this on a 12 ft ceiling I don't think the average cam strap is going to be long enough for you to reach the tag end. Maybe use something like this where you can cut the rope to the size you need? (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links)

	I did mine by using a crank style boat winch and a few pulleys. I set up four of these units (three canoes and one kayak). They were designed so I could put the canoe trailer under them and raise and lower accordingly. I used nylon strap from the winch to the first pulley then rope going through the pulleys. They work great. I have the luxury of a large storage garage although I used to hang two of them in the attached garage.
