I will be going the first week in August, 2000.

Haven't decided where to go yet. Have read both of Beymer's guides at least twice, and some sections at least five. I have also downloaded the entire "Swanson Party" web site so I can view it on my laptop no matter where I am.

At this time I'm leaning toward the northwest border area: the lakes just south of Lac La Croix. Solitude is very close, if not the top, thing we're looking for. I've decided not to follow one of Beymer's routes, but to piece together my own.

Any suggestions?

Has anyone entered through Stuart River? (Looks like "swamp trolling" the first day.) I don't remember the entry point number off the top of my head.
