While our everyday lives and routines collide,
In our peaceful world we are allowed to hide.

The water whispering faint secrets only for our ears,
And the crackling of the fire disintegrates our fears.

The worries of the world dont follow us here,
Storms brewing in the distance yet our skies are clear.

Cool air at night and sunshine at daybreak,
Remind us of the beauty we let our hearts make.

Starlight dancing on the water looks like sparkling eyes,
In distant motions the leaves ruffle as wildlife survives.
