Re: Boundary Bluegills

About five years ago I kept missing strikes on my Yamamoto tube jig while fishing for smallmouth in a tree top. I eventually tied on a small floating Rapala and it was intantly pounded when it hit the water. I was suprised to boat a huge hybrid bluegill. We stayed around and caught several and took three back to camp for dinner.
I haven't ran across any since and honestly don't remember where we were. I do remember that it was a pretty small "pass through lake" somewhere in the southern part of Quetico.
