Re: Brushcrashers Jamboree 2005 - Proposal

Yeehaw,
Why is it that whenever someone has a good idea that falls within the guidelines of the law, someone always rains on the parade? The regulations for the park are pretty "black and white". 9 per campsite, no cans or bottles, no cutting of live trees etc. Where do you get off determining the "intent" of the rules and regulations? Is it because you and everyone like you can't' stand the fact that someone else is doing something fun in your wilderness. Stumpy has probably been going on Quetico trips longer than you've been potty trained, and has more respect for the woods than most out there. Oh, and by the way, a little known fact about Quetico (and you can call the park for yourself), it is legal to "gather" in larger groups than 9 in the park (for meals, meetings etc.) as long as you're not all camping together. The joke is, where stumpy will probably go, I'll be amazed to see anyone meet him there anyway. With all due respect, enjoy your wilderness.
