Portage Description:
This is a portage to start your day with, not end it! Portage starts on the same path as the Boulder-Cap portage, you just stay to the right rather than the left. Difficulties lie in crossing the sliver of open water about 1/3 of the way along. You need to snake down to the left side of the lake as you approach it from Boulder until you get to a spot where there's a washed out bank on the other side. Go across on your canoe! Trust me.

Head up the slope and look at all the blowdown. Amazing.

Lake after portage: Ledge
Known campsites: 1
Lake Description:

Small lake, very remote. Pretty, but more of a passing-through pretty.
