Portage Description:
This is an easy portage. Not much elevation change or rock. It follows Picket creek and some small rapids. In low water I imagine it would be a muddy take out and put in and maybe even have to walk your canoes a little before beginning to take out. Don't be surprised if the resident dogs find you and offer assistance-or at least want some attention. They are friendly and gladly show you the way.
