Portage Description:
Long, but only a few tough steep stretches. Not at all like the Pauley's book describes it although, perhaps after a few more spring rains that would change for the worse.

Lake Description:
Skoota looked like a nice lake, but we only hiked over to have a look - did not travel on thru this trip. Would definitely pass on thru this way again and for longer. Water in Skoota Looked clear, definitely Laker potential there if depth maps are half-accurate.
