When the standard pictures just aren't doing it for you, a little extra effort can broaden your horizons. You can use any image you are able to find on our site. So you might want to keep that in mind and write down the URL of your favorite image as you paddle around the site.

Note: You can not use images not found on QuietJourney
so please don't abuse our server by trying.

Here's How:

  1. Find the image you want to use. Remember you can use the magnifying glass icon to switch between large and small images on the trips.
    You can start here in a new window if you'd like.

  2. Open that image by click-holding on the image. In a moment a pull down menu will appear. Choose "Open this Image" (or something similar) The image should open and be the only thing in the browser window.

  3. Copy last part of the the image URL. (everything after the .com)
    Example: http://www.quietjourney.com/trip/972T28.jpg

  4. Replace the example URL in the box of STEP #1 with your selection.

  5. Complete steps 1-7 and don't forget to "SEND-CARD"

STEP #2a: OPTIONAL
Click the "PREVIEW" button.
If your card has a broken image icon the URL is incorrect. Please try again.
Use your browser's "Back" button to return to this form.
STEP #3: SELECT YOUR TEXT AND BACKGROUND COLORS
Please select your text and background colors. If you want your recipient to be able to read the card, please select two different colors! The default is white text and a green background.

In the box below, please enter your message. Please feel free to use HTML to express yourself!

STEP #6: Pick a Sound! (Easy sound comparison 780k)
 Please make a selection or skip this step for no sounds.
STEP #7: PROCEED TO PREVIEW OR START OVER
You are now ready to preview your card! To do so, just click on the PREVIEW button below. If you want to clear the form and start all over, select START-OVER. Your card will not be sent until you press the SEND-CARD button on the preview screen.
