That's a good idea - I've avoided that area for the same reason. Thanks for the tip too. What maps do you use? I've been happy with Mackenzie but the Fischer with the topographical features seem good too. I've had rotten luck with the older Fischers from the big map book - red campsite dots in the lakes, etc. You'd think we'd have come farther than that...
