I thought it an interesting paradox. Here I am, planning on my first BWCA trip. Looking to relive the way of life of generations ago (though with some fairly high-tech equipment...voyegeurs didn't have kevlar), and I'm doing 95% of my research and equipment purchases over the internet. Just a thought. "May the wind be at your back and all your portages down hill."
