There are so many variables involved in picking a route, even if you could find somebody who has been on all six of these trips, I'm sure they would be hard-pressed to say which one is 'best'. I've only been on one of your possible routes, but I've heard great things about all of them.

If you only have 5 days to work with, and want to have time for some fishing, you might take a hard look at some of these routes, and eliminate them as being too long, or scale them back some.

Also, you didn't mention how important solitude is to you. Some folks I've talked to about the Mudro area have said that it's very popular, with 'crowded' portages and campsites at a premium. Fall Lake and Basswood are very heavily travelled areas also. Nice routes I'm sure, but they might not provide the wilderness experience you're looking for.
