Roughly 10 years ago, I was camped on Lake Agnes in the BWCA. It was the last night of our trip and the northern lights put on an awesome display. We watched them for over an hour. When we got back to Ely, we read in the paper that we had witnessed one of the more spectacular displays in years. We were fortunate to be in the north woods at the right time.
