I know you're supposed to make sure you find a camp site by early to mid-afternoon. Is it safe to leave your gear or tent there unattended while you go out fishing or exploring? Has anyone had any problems with equipment disappearing? (And I don't mean carried away by black, furry creatures.) Or is there another way to "save" your site? (like bringing a big sign that says "This site is taken")<-----joke.

P.S. Thank you for this site and all those who participate. I have been reading all the posts to this forum sent me via auto-email. I have learned a lot. After this summer, maybe I will be able to add my own advice. (I have my reservation sent in!!!)
