I've stumbled across them trolling but would like to jig some up in AUgust.
I did get into them in a small pothole lake off Brent Lake a few years ago. The water was a bronze color and we caught plenty of 3Lbers on 1/4 oz jigs with Yamamoto grub tails. Even caught one "can you believe this" on a buzz bait in the middle of the day!!!!!!!! The lake was about 20 acres and only about 15 feet deep, guess the stained water helped us out, by filtering some of the sunlight.
