I'm with Skip on this one. When I go it's store bought food.
Those Ramen noodle soups (just crack 'em up to save space) are great. I think if I had one thing to add it's that on a trip "some flavor" is welcome. We use (any brand) crushed red pepper. In the soup, mac-n-cheese, spaghetti, etc., it always tastes good. I must add though, I go for a combination of the solitude and for the fishing, so sitting around camp, enjoying fine cuisine, is not my goal. Heck, I guess I'd just about eat anything..... except, freeze dried food, probably because of price. :-)

One more thing. I'm hope nobody wonders who this guy is that all of the sudden is posting like he knows something.
