Now that I've got your attention let's talk about meals. My group has tried the dehydrated stuff and would just as soon pack the extra weight to eat real food. Just wanted to ask the board members about suggestions for easy & nutritious meals using as few pots/pans as possible. Having done this a few times I have some favorites, but am always looking for some more variety for breakfast , lunch & supper! Here are some to start this discussion: They may not be fancy but will get you through the day!
Lunch - Pita bread (packs nice) squeeze bottle of jelly and plastic jar of peanut butter. And of course a SNICKERS bar. Supper- Fresh fish breaded with HOUSE AUTREY seafood breading and fried, accompanied by some boil-in-bag rice and topped off with a squirt of Sqeeze Parkay margarine. And another SNICKERS bar. This year I think a Fish Chowder is on the menu.................................. Posted by Dave D on February 18, 2000 at 17:23 |
