I've seen some posts referencing the storm.
Can you give us some details on what it was like riding it out!
I've been in one micro burst on North Bay and we saw it
coming. My brother and I took the windward edge of the kitchen tarp and pulled it down & folded it under and sat on it. The other ends were secured to the trees. When the wind hit, the tarp acted like an airfoil and lifted us up a few feet off the ground. Sheets of rain lashed the camp and our feet but for the most part we stayed dry as the tents blew down. It was over in 30 seconds...........(We were very lucky none of the trees fell around us)
I'll tell you about the lightening storm on Darky another time.................
