Ol' Dave D and I have a bit of a squabble going on here and we need a few 'pinons.
What we'd like to hear is, what is your favorite time period for fishing Quetico, what primary species of fish, and why?

Personally I'm kinda partial to late May / early June because of the fantastic TOPWATER action. Durned if those Smallies & Northern don't 'bout stop my heart every time... come to think of it, maybe that's why I usually carry along my personal paramedic. Besides that topwater reason, me being a southern gent, I ain't zactly an accomplished walleye man and they sure do make it easier on me in the late sping/early summer.
