As POIG said - anytime you can get in there is a good time !! According to the sage advice of every Canadian outfitter we ever asked , if you really want the best smalley action then you're supposed to be there in late July/early Aug. Walleys can be caught by me more easily in the spring but about the time I think I know how to do it, they deflate my ego . Catching big (over 20 # ) northern requires either dumb luck ( which is how I catch Lakers ) or some serious dedication to them- anytime of the yr.- that will pretty much preclude success on other species . I had some questions re. campsite possibilties from one of your earlier posts so if you're OK in giving me an e-mail address , I'd like to get your advice .
