This might be coming a bit late, but I have used the York Pack as sold by Wyoming River Raiders. Comes with back pack straps and very easy to portage. I like the size and being able to take the lid off and see everything at once. Barrels look like a pain when it comes to load and find stuff. The York box is water proof, tested it and it works fine but ALWAYS seal food and other stuff in zip locks just in case and to help keep odors down so y ou don't advertise supper for bears.
