Dale, I went in at Kawishiwi 3 years ago and went up to Malberg. Stayed on Polly on the way back. There's a nice little campground right by the landing at Kawishiwi. Be prepared to navigate around the islands to find the creek that goes to Square (We missed it on the first pass) The creek could be shallow in low water times, probably no issue now. There is a very easy 25 or so rod portage from Square to the creek and in higher water you can paddle right thru the narrows at the next portage. The toughest one is the long portage from Kawasaschong to Townline. I think it's 189 rods, but not a lot of climbing. You go downhill a lot at Townline, if I remember correctly. Polly has great Walleye fishing around the points and theres lots of them. The campsites are all elevated and the ones on the East side especially so. I think it's a very popular spot so get in early. We stayed at the site on the East side, the one directly facing the small island to the west. Great jumping rock there. Good luck!
