You know, someone suggested that, but everyone else laughed, so I didn't consider it. Definitely a two trip portage that way, and I was hoping to keep it to one trip, but we're going in late August and from what I've been reading, it's going to be cold enough that we may be making a second trip just for our CLOTHES! Haha!

I suggested taking my two dogs, just for warmth. Michael, if you're reading this, that option is still open. (Nur ein witz!)

Thanks again! Best (and cheapest) suggestion so far, although I do have a few big plastic gallon jars, too!
