Re: Camping/ Canoeing Equipment: GoodBad

I know this is TOTALLY the wrong place to say this, but I spent the last five months planning a ten day BWCA trip for myself and a friend from Germany. Making a long story short...and much less bitter...he canceled last night, and we were supposed to put in August 21. The outfitters (Gene and Jane Ott at Jack and Toni's) have been REALLY great about it. So I have two brand new (OK, I crawled into one of them fully dressed!) Slumberjack Quallofil 20 degree Deelite LONG sleeping bags. Because they have to be stored "unstuffed", they take up too much room in my house. Not free, mind you...

My e-mail address is at the bottom, only because this board has been such a godsend for me, and I feel comfortable in the community db has created. I can't thank all of you enough for your help. Maybe next year I'll choose a companion more wisely and actually GO!

Sorry if I have made an inappropriate post by plugging the outfitter and offering something for sale. Sometimes things happen at just the right time and you can't pass up the opportunity.

Thanks!
