Great advise Tom,
I brought one of them 5 piece rods and I snapped it on the second day.
I now bring 3 to 4 two-piece rods and tie them to the thwarts, works great.
Those 5 piece and telescoping rods really take the fun(feel) out of fishing.
My lure of choice is a floating jointed Rapala. Happy fishing!
