Skip, Thanks for your help. Obviously you know this area pretty well, A couple more questions please. You said 2 days to top of 4th falls. Where and what time of day did you start? I am hoping to fish at least 1 or 2 hours per day so maybe my plans are over zealous. I haven't crossed any of the falls portages, but my son and I have done alot of other portages with good success so I'm hopeful about that aspect. That said I don't want this trip to be the Batan death march. After the 3rd falls portage where did you go. I have considered just going up to Kawnipi exploring and heading back.
