I will make my fifth BWCAW trip with my REI "Elements" brand raingear this spring and it has never disappointed. It's NOT Goretex, but rather is REI's private lable breathable membrane fabric. When I bought my set it was at least 25% less than Goretex. Check out their outlet web page (reioutlet.com) for great deals.
