Re: Malberg and Koma Lakes

Malberg is a great Lake, we're justa little tired of it. We've used Malberg as our first stop in on three consecutive trips. The campsite on the high rocks is a great site, or the sandy beach site near the portage to Kawishiwi River. We've always donr well on Northerns and Walleye. Leeches work well, but if you find the magic crankbait you'll never go hungry. There should still be a 52" Northern on Koma that we through back because it was too small. Actually, it broke the metal stringer.
