Here is how the Quetico regulations read in 1999. (so far) That says they are not allowed, at least in quetico anyhow. The regs go on to say; "Non-burnable, disposable food and beverage containers are not allowed. Please carry out all fuel cans." Does that say that for example (burnable) Miller bottles (yuk) are permitted? I know that burning plastic is illegal in the BW. I've always thought that the spirit of the law was not only to keep the park clean but more importantly free of man made things that would cut your feet and possibly give you tetanus. I'll admit I've smuggled a few canned brews on occasion. Unfortunately Lagers have never been cold enough to suit my taste. Stout is about the right temp up there. Personally I don't care what people take, as long as everything makes the entire round trip! Has anyone ever been caught and - fined??? If there are no answers can we assume all found smugglers have been executed? Posted by on April 23, 2001 at 16:00 In reply to: Re: Miller Bottles posted by Tim H on April 22, 2001 at 17:13 |
