I'm don't disagree with you, Brian. My point is you can't "laugh" at a guy that wants to take one. I took mine on 2 or 3 trips and had fun with it. Did it help catching more fish? I don't believe it did. We did find some structure that we would never have found in a hundred years without it. Some enjoyable parts of our trips have been figuring out where the fish are and what the bite is.

Each persons definition of "Up North" is different and we have to respect that. I was only upset because this guy wanted to "Laugh" at someone else. I've done my share of tripping over the years. Move each day. New camp each night. It's not my style any more. That doesn't mean I laugh at someone who enjoys traveling that way.
