Re: ticks

Ticks are in abundance this spring, and Lyme Disease is on the rise, we have had one reported case in our workforce already this year. The important thing to remember is to check yourself daily and remove all of the tick. The deer tick can be as small as the head of a pin. Early detection and removal is key, if the bite area becomes red and a rashy circular area forms you need to seek medical help. Anitbiotics work best and most quickly when taken early. Also remember to wash the area of the bite and your hands after pulling the tick. Just be informed about ticks and how to remove them, your going to find one or two eventually if your a woodsman, no need to panic, it's just part of the adventure.
