We just came from the BWCA and did a 5 day trip starting at entry point 16. We went down the Moose river to nina Moose lake, on to Agnes lake and then to Lac La Croix. From there we took a day trip over a 320 (character building exercise) rod portage to see Rebecca falls and came back to our camp on Lac La Croix. This route is fairly easy.My wife and I did this as our first trip to the BWCA. It did leave us some slack days in case of bad weather. The 320 rod portage is said to be fairly flat, seemed up and down to us. On our last day we had 5 to 10 MPH head winds and it was a killer. Leave a few days to cover things like that.
