The portages being talked about in this post have been documented in the Portage Database. We took the "unmarked" portages from Slate into Blackstone, and then paddled out via the "Blackstone River", which is in fact a creek with 6-7 or maybe 8 beaver dams to portage around, or perform an "up and over".
