I have been to the Basswood/Robinson Lake areas about ten times in the last twenty years and enjoy it every time. We usually float down the Basswood River to Moose Bay of Crooked. On the way to Moose Bay you will see the pictos on arrow rock of Crooked. North out of Moose Bay you will be travelling upstream on the pretty Tuck River. Once you enter Robinson you can go north through Deer to McIntyre, east through Tuck, or west into Bart. We usually leave the area through Kett and Ranger Bay of Basswwod. It is pretty easy to then take the shortcut through Wind back to Moose Lake. Posted by Will V on February 27, 2002 at 19:15 |
