We're likely all familiar with slipping rocks into the packs of others before setting out on a long day of portaging, or for the kindhearted, waiting until the portaging is done and then slipping in the rock to convince your companion that he actually did carry that rock over all those portages. "Moose Marbles" also have many uses for the ingenious joker.

I'd like to hear what are the best practical jokes played by you, upon you, or witnessed by you in canoe country. Not that I would EVER use these ideas, of course.
