Our group is planning week long fishing trip in Quetico in late may this year. Our base camp will be set up on Bearpelt Lake and we usually fish Bearpelt, Cub and Omeme Lakes for Walleyes. I have often thought about venturing over to Badwater Lake to try for Lake Trout. I have a book called Quetico Fishes that states what fish are suposedly in which lakes. It states that there are Lake Trout in Badwater, so it might be worth a shot. Can anyone comfirm or shed any light on this? Also since Badwater is a long and skinny lake, anyone care to share a hotspot or area to fish?
