I made a half-hearted attempt to look for it once. No luck. My 23 year old park map dosen't show it either. When portages aren't used much, they get pretty tough pretty fast.

Was that the 1928 map you were looking at? Excellent for daydreaming isn't it? There are some useful notations on it though.
