On the portage between Gillnet and the un-named lake there were fresh beartracks traveling in the same directions as us most of the portage. I hope that the info helped out. I meet with my group this Saturday to plan our next trip, I thankyou for the info that you provided, I am sure that we will travel to at least Chatterton Falls and hopefully Split Rock Falls.
