The big problem with most photo contests is participants never get to see the other entries, sometimes not even the winning ones! Not this one.
All entries remain the property of their respective owners. By entering you are granting QuietJourney.com a non-exclusive license to borrow your creative property for publication on QuietJourney.com. Model releases (when required) are the responsibility of the participant.
- Jurors - will be
a weighted average of the opinions of:
- Selected photographers and artists
- Participants
- Inukshuks
- Interested visitors
- Grand Prize
- The honor of being recognized as the best... as well as the sheer joy of competition.
- Other prizes (to be announced) - but similar to previous years.
- Only digital submissions will be accepted.
- Scanning and supplying QuietJourney with an image in the acceptable digital format is the responsibility of the participant.
- Who and what is
eligible.
- Submit only photos you made in the BW/Q.
- In fact - any BW/Q looking image, created by a professional or an amateur, published or not, whether using all available high tech wizardry or a box with a hole in it... Basically anyone who has portaged a camera and used it in the Boundary Waters or Quetico area can enter the results of those efforts. (well... anyone except that db guy from QuietJourney)
