Big D's Chowder

Recipe Ingredients:
- 1/2cup powdered milk
- 1/4cup potato flakes
- 1/4cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons butter-flavored granuales
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon course ground pepper
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup whole-kernel corn
- 6oz crabmeat (or fish)
- 3 tablespoons crumbled bacon
Cooking instructions:
Combine powdered milk, potato flakes, flour, butter granules, parsley, salt, onion powderand pepper; set aside. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in powdered soup mixture. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, until thickened. Stir frequenlty to prevent sticking. Stir in corn, crab, and bacon. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently.
Variations/Hints:
If you want to go veggi you don't have to put the crab in and use fake bacon that they use in salads.

Yields 2 main-dish or 4 side-dish servings.
