Date Maple Nut Instant Oatmeal

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 10 teaspoons maple sugar granules
  • 5 teaspoons bown sugar blend Splenda
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 10 teaspoons chopped dates

Cooking instructions:
To make individual instant packets:
Process 1/2 cup oats in a blender on high until powdery.

Into each of 10 ziplock packets combine the following ingredients:
2-4 teaspoons powdered oats (divide into an equal amount)
1/4 cup unpowdered oats
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar blend Splenda
1 teaspoon maple sugar granules
1-1/2 tablespoons walnuts
2 teaspoons chopped dates

To serve, empty packet into a bowl. Add 3/4 cup boiling water. Stir and let stand for 2 minutes.

Variations/Hints:
Adjust water amount for thicker or thinner oatmeal.
