Fried Corn Meal

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2/3c Corn meal
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 2/3c cold water
  • pinch salt
  • 2 c hot water

Cooking instructions:
Prepare this the night before: combine salt, sugar and cornmeal in a zip-loc bag add 2/3c cold water mix well. Pour this into 2 cups of boiling water, stir constantly until thick. Let this set up over night.
Cut into slices.
Fry in margarine.
Serve with syrup.
