Recipe Ingredients:
- (2)Zatarains jambalaya mix (comes in foil packets.)
- 1 Pkg. Eckrich Smoked Sausage
- 8 lb. Walleye
- Crystal clear lake water
Cooking instructions:
Clean fish and cube meat (1"squares), Slice sausage. Cook jambalaya as instructed on packet. Add meat while simmering. Cover, cook till rice is soft and fish is white. Add more water if you like soupier jambalaya.
Variations/Hints:
Put in extra Cayenne on chilly evenings.....MMMMMM MMM
Comments:
This stuff is awesome, and easy to cook lakeside, also well packaged
to suit a foodpack. Also, vacuum wrapped sausage will keep all week
if you drop the packet into a shallow spot in the lake until use.
