Onion Rings
thanks to Tom Santucci

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 Large Vidalia Onion
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • Bread Crumbs
  • Oil
  • Whatever Spices Available

Cooking instructions:
First slice your onion and let sit in milk (works best, but egg or water will work, also) while preparing breading. For your breading use lots of flour, and any bread crumbs that are available. Start heating the oil, but make sure that it doesn't get too hot. Bread the onion slices and fry in the oil until they turn a very light golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes and eat!

Variations/Hints:
Use whatever spices that are available in the breading for different flavors i.e., salt, pepper, onion powder, ect.

Comments:
There will be very little breading actually on the onion rings, but they will taste better than anything from a restaurant.
When using whole onion serves about 4.
